More About Work-Related Injuries
Most estimates place the number of annual work injuries in the United States at 4 million. Most of these work-related injuries affect the neck, back, extremities, head, eyes, and skin, and are directly attributable to the workplace environment and the hazards it creates. These hazards could include poor ergonomics, equipment failure, misuse of equipment, exposure, and insufficient training and safety education.
According to the State of Texas, these injured workers are entitled to proper diagnosis and treatment of their injury. They are also entitled to additional workers' compensation benefits such as wage replacement, medical expense coverage, and the right to choose their own treating doctor. Too often, though, injured workers are not aware of all the benefits due to them and are unable to properly file their injury claim to obtain their benefits.
Superior's team of experienced workers' compensation experts offer free claims assistance to make sure the patient properly files their claim, remains compliant with the State's guidelines, and receives all of the workers compensation benefits they deserve. For more information about our experience and ability to help you properly file your claim please call our front office at (817) 727-4730.
